Abstract: Laser-plasma acceleration has obtained considerable attention in recent years, for its ability to produce quasi-monoenergetic electron beams. A 286TW Ti: Sapphire laser system at CAEP referred as SILEX-1 can provide the experimental conditions for laser-plasma electron acceleration domestically. A preliminary experiment at the SILEX-1 is described in this paper and the results are also discussed.
