Abstract：
We present a variational calculation of C=+1 and C=－1 glueball masses in 2+1 dimensional SU(3) lattice gauge theory using a Hamiltonian in which the ground state is exactly known.In the range 0<1/g²≤6,we obtain good scaling behaviour am₊=36.1g² and am_－=5.98g².
