Abstract: High frequency electromagnetic fields induced by high-energy e-beam can cause resonance depolarization of the HERMES transversely polarized gas target. This paper presents the research results on the mechanism of depolarization and the position where resonance σ24 takes place. About 3% depolarization has been saved after avoiding such resonance by fixing the magnet field far from resonance position according to the measured results.
