Abstract：
The reason of the rate-dependent breakdown phenomena for higf flux operation ofGMSC, is probably due to the argons' metastable states Ar^m, and lu or Ou^- states ofAr_2^*, accumulating in "depletion region" on the anode wire HV₆, and raising, a rapidcharge generation process in high concentration region of Ar^m and Ar₂. Our calcula-tion is in accord with experiment.
