Abstract: We have investigated the process of deep inelastic scattering by means of a phenomenological model which assumes that the colliding nuclei undergo quadrupole length distortion after sticking each other. The energy dissipations and the angular distributions and so on are in agreement with experimental data. The results may describe qualitatively the main characteristics of the quasi-fission.The total kinetic energy of the exit channel is the Coulomb repulsion energy of the fragments and the interaction time of the process is scaled by 10-22—10-21sec.In addition, the effect of 1 window of complete fusion is also given.
