Abstract：
In the framework of Glauber theory the recent pion inelastic scattering data on ¹²C at 800MeV/c are analysed by using the transition density method. The degree of agreement between the theoretical results with different parameters and the experimental data are discussed. The Coulom effect for pion-¹²C inelastic scattering is also considered.
