Abstract: We discuss the symmetry relations among Green’s functions, i.e., the transverse and the normal (longitudinal) Ward-Takahashi relations. Solving consistently this set of WT relations, we obtain the nonperturbative fermion-boson vertex function, which leads to consistently truncated and closed Dyson-Schwinger equations for the propagators up to the quantum anomaly, thus providing the consistent nonperturbative approach of studying hadronic physics.
