Abstract：
A simple method is proposed to obtain the classical monopole and dyon solutions in the case of SU(4) symmetry, which can be systematically generalized to the general case of SU(N). The solutions obtained in the SU(4) case correspond to magnetic charges of ±1/g,±√3/(2g),±1/(√2g).
